How do I create my FindGuide profile?

After you press the Sign up button you will need to fill in the guide registration form. Make sure to fill in all the sections. This information is valuable for your guests.

How do I upload my ID to my Find Guide profile?

Once you sign up, you’ll be asked to upload photos of your passport or ID. Please follow the on-screen instructions to submit it. Your documents will then be sent for verification, which usually takes no more than one day. 

After successful verification, your profile will be confirmed and you can start working with tourists 

Why does the app ask for my personal information?

A strong self-presentation helps attract more tourists. Details like your background, experience, and interests can make your profile more appealing and trustworthy. Meanwhile, your official ID helps us confirm your identity to ensure the tourists’ safety. 

If you have a guide license or certificate, we recommend uploading it to your profile — it qualifies you for a special ‘Pro’ status and proves your credibility.

What do I pay for?

We don’t take any commission from your tour price. Guides on our platform purchase responses to tourist requests. You can choose between buying a package of responses or an unlimited monthly subscription. These responses allow you to reply to tourist requests, start a conversation with them, and arrange your tour.

In simple terms, we only charge for the opportunity to connect with tourists who are looking for a guide in your city and speak your language.

If the tourist doesn't read your reply, the Response will be returned to your balance once the tour dates have passed. You’ll be able to use it again for another request at any time.

Can anyone see my contact details?

Only the FindGuide team will have access to your contact details. It's important to keep them updated, as this is how the team will reach out to you.

 

How do I change my profile information?

If your profile is not verified, you can edit any information directly on your profile page. 

If your profile is verified, you'll need to contact our support team via Telegram @FindGuideSupport, WhatsApp +971557142705, or email care@find.guide to make changes.

How do I add my profile picture?

To add a photo to your profile, tap the 'Upload Photo' button on your profile page and select the photo you want to use.

How can I fund my FindGuide account?

Log in to your account and go to the ‘Wallet’ section. Select the response package that suits you best and click the ‘Buy’ button. Then, you’ll be able to choose a payment method and complete the transaction.

How can I add more photos to my profile?

In your profile, you’ll find the ‘Gallery’ section. Tap the ‘Add Photo’ button and choose the photo you’d like to upload.

You can add up to 5 files in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format. Each file must be no larger than 10 MB.

How do I receive bookings?

Once our guests register and select their desired destination, they can make bookings directly through our platform.

Guides have two options to manage bookings:

  • Orders Section: Here, guides can view a list of tourists interested in visiting locations within their city. This allows them to choose suitable orders that align with their expertise and availability
  • Requests Section: In this area, guides can access all incoming requests from tourists who have specifically chosen them over other available guides. Each request includes details such as preferred dates, destinations, and any special requirements.

Where can I find my Requests?

Go to your profile page and open the ‘Requests’ section. Here, you can check all your current and completed requests from tourists.

Can a guide contact tourists directly?

You can start chatting with tourists using the FindGuide chat. This is the best place to discuss tour details and answer any questions they have. Don’t hesitate to provide your additional contact details as it can be convenient for both you and the tourist.  

To keep things running smoothly, we recommend replying to tourists' messages within 24 hours.

How and when do I get paid for the tour I offer?

Tourists pay you directly for the tour. FindGuide doesn't handle payments. We recommend discussing and agreeing on payment details with your guests before the tour starts.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

If you’re no longer available for a confirmed booking, please follow these steps:

1. Go to your Requests section.

2. Find the request you want to cancel.

3. Click the ‘Reject’ button to cancel the booking.

This will notify the tourist and update the booking status accordingly.

 

What happens in case my guests don't show up for a booking?

If your guests don’t arrive and haven’t responded to your calls, we recommend waiting at the meeting point for a maximum of 30 minutes.

How do tourists leave reviews?

After the tour, we ask tourists to leave a review and rate the guide’s work. When they do so, the reviews will be published on your profile.

Where can I see my reviews?

Your reviews will automatically appear on your profile page.

How can I delete my account?

To delete your account, go to your personal dashboard and click the ‘Delete Account’ button located at the very bottom of the page. After that, your account will be deleted within 30 days — our manager will contact you to confirm the deletion request.
