How it works

Tourists place orders for private local guides

Once tourists register in the app, they can start creating orders for guides. They select a city, language, places they want to visit, preferred dates for the excursion, and any special terms if needed. After submission, such an order will appear directly in your Orders tab. If a tourist wants to request a tour specifically from you, their order will go directly to your Requests tab.

You choose the tour request that suits you

Just go to the Orders section and browse the pending orders. We’ll automatically show you the most relevant ones, based primarily on your city and language. And don’t forget to check the Requests tab to see if there is a new order from a tourist who has already selected you over other guides.

Discuss order details and agree on a price

Once you reply, you can start a private chat with the tourist. There, you can discuss the tour details — including dates, any special stops they’d like to visit, and a price that works for both of you. This is the stage where you confirm the tour by agreeing on all the key details.

The tour is coming up — awesome! Make sure everything’s set: exchange phone numbers, agree on where to meet, and get ready to give your guest a great time!

FindGuide is a guide too — just in a different way. We connect guides and tourists to help create memorable, enjoyable tour experiences. While we guide the process, we don’t handle payments — that’s between you and the tourist. We recommend discussing payment terms in advance and completing it after the tour.

How do I receive bookings?

It’s simple! Follow the steps: 1. Check available Orders and Requests in their dedicated tabs; 2. Apply to Orders that match your interests and expertise, or respond to Requests from tourists who contacted you directly; 3. The order will be transferred to your Requests tab once you start the chat with the tourist; 4. Chat with travelers to discuss the tour details and agree on a price; 5. If the tourist chooses you as their guide, you will get confirmation via the chat. That’s it — no agencies, no hassle!

When and what do I pay?

You only pay when you decide to reply to a tourist. The cost of one reply is about $3. No commission on your earnings.

What do I pay for?
